Workshop Booking Terms and Conditions
1. Booking and Payment
1.1 A place at the workshop is confirmed only once full payment has been received.
1.2 Tickets are issued to the named attendee and may not be transferred or resold without the prior written consent of the organiser.
1.3 The organiser reserves the right to cancel any booking that has been transferred or resold without permission. In such circumstances the booking may be cancelled without refund.
2. Commercial Event and Competitor Attendance
2.1 This workshop is a commercial training event designed for business owners and professionals seeking to apply the organiser’s methods within their own organisations.
2.2 Attendance by individuals or organisations whose primary purpose is to observe, record or obtain commercial intelligence relating to the organiser’s services, training materials, business model or intellectual property is strictly prohibited.
2.3 The organiser reserves the right to determine, at their reasonable discretion, whether an attendee represents a competing business or has a conflict of interest that may compromise the commercial integrity of the event.
2.4 Where such a determination is made, the organiser reserves the right to refuse entry or withdraw admission to the individual concerned.
2.5 If payment has already been made, the ticket price will be refunded. The refund of the ticket price will be the sole remedy and no additional compensation, expenses or damages will be payable.
3. Right to Refuse or Withdraw Entry
3.1 The organiser reserves the right, at their reasonable discretion, to refuse or withdraw admission to any attendee whose presence may:
- Disrupt the event
- Compromise the commercial interests of the organiser
- Create a conflict of interest
- Affect the safety, comfort or experience of other attendees
3.2 Where entry is refused or withdrawn under this clause and payment has already been made, a refund of the ticket price will be issued.
3.3 The refund of the ticket price shall represent the organiser’s total liability in such circumstances.
4. Cancellation or Postponement by the Organiser
4.1 The organiser reserves the right to cancel, postpone or reschedule the workshop due to circumstances beyond their reasonable control, including but not limited to illness, venue issues, low attendance, travel disruption, or other unforeseen circumstances.
4.2 If the workshop is postponed or cancelled, attendees will be offered:
- A transfer of their booking to a future workshop date; or
- A refund of the ticket price.
4.3 The organiser shall not be liable for any travel, accommodation or other costs incurred by attendees.
5. Attendee Cancellation
5.1 If you cancel your booking more than 14 days before the workshop date, you may request a transfer to a future workshop (subject to availability).
5.2 Cancellations made within 14 days of the workshop are non-refundable, except at the organiser’s discretion.
6. Conduct During the Event
6.1 Attendees are expected to behave respectfully and professionally throughout the workshop.
6.2 The organiser reserves the right to remove any attendee whose behaviour is disruptive, inappropriate or breaches these Terms. In such circumstances no refund will be issued.
7. Intellectual Property and Recording
7.1 All workshop materials, content, presentations and training methods remain the intellectual property of the organiser.
7.2 Attendees may not record, photograph, film, reproduce or distribute workshop content without the prior written consent of the organiser.
7.3 Materials provided during the workshop are for personal use only and may not be used to replicate or deliver competing training or commercial services.
8. Confidentiality
8.1 Workshops may involve discussion of attendees’ businesses, experiences and challenges.
8.2 All participants agree to treat information shared by other attendees during the workshop as confidential and not disclose it to third parties without permission.
8.3 The organiser accepts no responsibility for information voluntarily shared by attendees but expects all participants to act in good faith and respect the confidentiality of the group.
9. Limitation of Liability
9.1 Nothing in these Terms shall exclude or limit liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or any liability that cannot be excluded under UK law.
9.2 Subject to clause 9.1, the organiser’s total liability in connection with the workshop shall be limited to the ticket price paid.
10. Governing Law
These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by the laws of England and Wales and any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts.
