What differences do the Estates Enhancement
Committee hope to make?
Working together with the local Police force,
government and other authorities, the Committee aims to improve
security, cutting down vandalism and graffiti to enhance the appearance
of the estates. This will not only make them more attractive to
outside investors but will ensure a pleasant, safe working environment
for all companies currently trading in the area.
How will I benefit from joining the Estates
Enhancement Scheme?
All businesses on the estates have suffered some
problems over the years. By now working together as a team we
are a stronger force to tackle those problems and issues concerning
business in the area. This puts us in a better position to form
alliances with other local groups to bring pressure to rectify
long-standing issues which have yet to be dealt with. We also
aim to publicise and promote businesses on the estates, spreading
your message further and wider than perhaps you could alone.
